About Us
Who Is Northeast Guide Service?
Northeast Guide Service is a collection of Registered Maine Guides and ACA-certified instructors who would love to show you what Maine has to offer. We can custom-tailor a trip to suit anyone's needs, in any season. We offer personalized Maine whitewater rafting trips, whitewater kayaking trips, canoe trips, and fly fishing trips, including overnight trips. We are happy to offer combination trips for those who want to enjoy both the woods and the water.
We also offer ice fishing and snowshoeing trips, as well as outdoor education courses, CPR and first aid courses, and American Canoe Association instructional clinics. Being able to combine our passion for the outdoors with a career sharing it with others has always been our goal. We love what we do and it shows. Come and experience one of our trips or clinics for yourself. You won't want to go home.
Where Is Northeast Guide Service Located?
Northeast Guide Service is pleased to announce our partnership with Historic Pittston Farm in the Maine North Woods. We now operate all of our spring, summer, and fall activities out of our Basecamp located at the farm. Basecamp is located 20 miles north of scenic Rockwood, Maine, home to Mount Kineo, and about 35 miles north of Greenville, Maine, home to Maine's largest lake, Moosehead Lake. It is a short 50-mile drive to Baxter State Park and beautiful Mount Katahdin, Maine's largest mountain, through some of the most beautiful landscapes you'll ever see. Full Lodging and Meal Packages are available. There is plenty to do when you get off the river, including scenic drives, wildlife tours, and discovering some of Maine's many hidden treasures.
