Canada Falls Whitewater Rafting Maine

Maine Rafting on the Penobscot River Canada Falls

The South Branch of the Penobscot Canada Falls Section may be Maine's most challenging and exciting river run. We are the only commercial Maine whitewater rafting outfitter on the South Branch of the Penobscot River. Canada Falls is steep, narrow, technical, and unforgiving. Saturday releases are scheduled from July through mid-September. If you have done all the other Maine whitewater rafting rivers, want the ultimate challenge, or just like technical Maine whitewater rafting, come let Northeast Guide Service show you what we think is the best river in Maine. There are four Class V rapids in this four-mile section that will keep your blood pumping. We run this section twice, for maximum adreneline.

Whitewater Rafting in Maine at Canada Falls

The South Branch of the Penobscot River Canada Falls Section originates from Canada Falls Lake and is released every Saturday in July, August, and through mid-September. We run levels from 900 cfs down to 500 cfs. The higher the level the more excitement. This Maine whitewater rafting river has a rapid around every turn, along with beautiful scenery. This river is a must-do for any Maine whitewater junkie.
