Northeast Guide Service offers Maine whitewater kayaking trips on the East Outlet of the Kennebec River and the West Branch of the Penobscot River. The East Outlet of the Kennebec River offer Class I and II rapids, just enough to get you wet and cool off. We put in at the headwaters of the Kennebec River, where it dumps out of Moosehead Lake, Maine's largest lake, and kayak down river until it flows into beautiful Indian Pond. The West Branch of the Penobscot River, the Seboomook Section, lets you challenge Class II and III rapids in the beauty of the Maine North Woods. This Seboomook Section is the former site of historic Maine log drives and boasts rumbling whitewater rapids. This is Maine whitewater kayaking at its best!!! No experience necessary. There is no better way to spend a day than paddling on Maine's famous rivers. All of our inflatable whitewater kayak trips meet at our North Maine Woods Basecamp at Historic Pittston Farm.

• Minimum Age 10 years or older. 
• No experience necessary.
• Minimum 6 participants on guided trips or join an existing trip.
