Simply put, Maine canoeing trips are fun! Join Northeast Guide Service for a half-day of Maine canoeing into beautiful ponds, streams and rivers to experience nature, foliage, see moose and wildlife in their natural habit. We offer half-day Maine canoeing trips two times per day, centered on the Moosehead Lake regions wildlife habitat and when beauty and solitude abounds! Our half-day canoeing trips are 3.5-4 hours lead by our friendly and knowledgeable Registered Maine Guides.

Lobster Lake Overnight Canoe Trips

Our Lobster Lake canoe trips in Maine are a wilderness canoe adventure at a minimum of 3 days in the wilds of Maine. Enjoy canoeing Lobster stream into Lobster Lake, where we will set up camp. Hike Lobster Mountain with our Registered Maine Guide’s, swim in Lobster Lake, canoe in the coves, relax by the campfire and eat hearty home cooked meals. Our Lobster Lake canoe trips are ideal for families; summer camp groups eager to enjoy a 3-4 day extended camp getaway into the wilds of Maine; or team building for corporate retreats, scout groups, college outings or your next senior class trip.

Frequently Asked Questions about Canoeing Trips

• All equipment provided. State-of-the-art self-bailing inflatable kayaks, Type V lifejackets, paddles, helmets, all safety equipment, transportation, Registered Maine Guide on every Inflatable Kayak trip, and photo slideshow of the days adventure (available to purchase at an additional cost). (Lunch NOT included on half-day Trips)
• Minimum Age 6 years or older. 
• No experience necessary.
• Minimum 8 participants on guided trips or join an existing Kayaking trip.
• Wetsuits are available at an additional cost and required on some trips.
• Video is available on any trip at an additional cost and must be requested in advance.
