The West Branch of the Penobscot River Seboomook Section offers outstanding native brook trout and big river salmon fishing. We fish from Roll Dam down to the put-in for Lobster Lake at the mouth of Lobster Stream. This is a remote stretch of river that is perfect for drift boat adventures and wade fishing.
Try your hand at fly fishing or spincasting. We, at Northeast Guide Service think it's a perfect place to take you on a guided fishing trip in Maine.
The West Branch of the Penobscot River falls under Artificial Lure Only rules, daily bag limit 2 trout / 1 salmon, April through August 15. From August 15 until the end of September is Fly Fishing Only, daily bag limit 1 trout or salmon. Check this trip out, it is not one to miss.
