The Seboomook Section of the West Branch of the Penobscot River has Class II through IV rapids in the spring and still runs into the summer with low-volume Class II and III rapids, which are great for family rafting trips. This historic and beautiful section of river is also know as the Penobscot River Roll Dam Section, site of former log drives. Let Northeast Guide Service show you one of Maine's hidden rivers and some of the best whitewater river rafting in the country. Discover the beauty of white water rafting in Maine.

Maine White Water Rafting Penobscot River Seboomook Roll Dam Section |
The Penobscot River Seboomook Section offers us a whitewater playground. The winter thaw and spring rains cause this section of Maine white water to become a boater's paradise. Ten distinct pool drop features in about 3 miles. We run this section of river twice and play each feature hard. We are the only commercial whitewater outfitter in Maine to provide river rafting on this section of water. In the summer the waters calm to a consistent daily water flow that is great for families, scouts, youth groups, and swimming. This Maine white water rafting trip is laid back and relaxing, while still tackling ten rapids and drops, twice!!!
